- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Staff were friendly and helpful however since the New Chef has come in the food has gone down hill yet the prices have climbed I've been coming to the somerset for 20 years and in all that time previous the meals were absolutely amazing and value for money but now I beg to differ. If you manage to get through your dinner stay around on a Friday night as the Somerset has some of the best entertainment in the Northern suburbs colin and teresa for karaoke in the saloon bar and live bands in the sports barBy Ryan stark, March 11, 2017
